Arab artists create their unique imprint wherever they go; in any field they choose. And one of these artists is Palestinian musician Ruba Shamshoum.
سنونو" هي أغنية ربى شمشوم الجديدة وهي من تأليفها" وتأديتها، تغنّي من خلالها عن حال شخص يُساء فهمه في مجتمع يتوقع من ناسه أن يبدوا بهيئة ما، أن يتصرفوا بشكل معين وأن يختبئوا حتى يختفوا. هي أغنية عن رغبة مدفونة بأن يحقق الشخص كيانه، لكن كل ما حوله، يدفعه دون ذلك. وهي أغنية للنساء اللاتي يحاربن كل يوم لأجل حريتهن.الأغنية هي واحدة من بين خمس أغنيات ضمن ألبوم "ريشة"، والمتوقع إصداره في نيسان/ أبريل المقبل.

The Palestinian singer-songwriter has released the first single — and accompanying video — from her upcoming EP “Risha.” The track — “Sununu” — is evocative and delicate, switching between world-music and electronic vibes, and includes a spoken-word section towards the end.
